At Bliss & Fish, every meal tells a story.
Bliss & Fish was founded by Dr. Shadia Zamlut, whose passion for hospitality, family, and authentic Mediterranean cooking inspired her to create a restaurant where every guest feels at home. Although Shadia earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, Shadia followed her dream of creating more than a restaurant—a place where people can gather, celebrate, and feel like family.
The restaurant proudly continues a family tradition that began with Bet & Jessie's Fish & Chips, the beloved family restaurant founded by Shadia's father, Joe, which served the community from 1979 to 2013. Inspired by his example of hard work, generosity, and hospitality, she carries that legacy forward at Bliss & Fish.
As the mother of Yusha, a son with autism, Shadia's personal journey has deepened her commitment to compassion, hope, and serving others. She believes that sharing a meal has the power to bring people together, strengthen families, and create meaningful connections within the community.
At Bliss & Fish, we proudly serve fresh Mediterranean cuisine, premium seafood, handcrafted desserts, and recipes rooted in tradition. We also feature Mediterranean Gold Olive Oil, our premium extra virgin olive oil imported from family farms in Lebanon. Guests can enjoy it with every meal and participate in our unique Olive Oil Membership Program.
